Nazarene Youth International 2026

Salt Lake City

More than 10,000 students and leaders gathered at NYC in Salt Lake City for an incredible event.

SCO’s NYI experienced incredible worship sessions, packed Wonder Kits, and a huge prayer walk for revival in Salt Lake City.

40 students who are exploring a call to ministry showed up for donuts with our district superintendent, Eddie Estep.  Another student was baptized in the mountains.

Thank you, NYI President, Pastor Christina McCully and NYC Coordinators Pastor Serena Kleppinger, Peter Flavin, and Amy Flavin for your tireless efforts and great leadership you gave to our students during NYC!

Wendell Brown), great worship (Thank you, Dan Anderson and friends from Heritage), great crowds (larger than last year), great offerings (we exceeded our $50,000 goal), great fellowship (Thank you, Logan Church, for supplying the concessions).

First Quarterly Reports

Great things are happening around our district:

“We had over 500 take part in our Eggapalooza, celebrated baptisms on Easter Sunday, and we are enjoying a growing excitement and expectation.” – Columbus Shepherd

“We have seen God at work in bringing new families into our church, decisions being made to follow and serve the Lord, visiting children for VBS, and new ministries being birthed!” – Columbus Whitehall

“A new men’s group started meeting in May.  This has been a great opportunity for younger men and new believers to connect with others who are further along in their walk!” – Fellowship

Social Media Advertising

If your church would like the district to help advertise an event on social media, send your already prepared flyer and a contact name with an email that can be used in the posting to Darla at dbatson@sconaz.org and she will help get that scheduled.
