The 82nd South Central Ohio District Assembly is now “in the books.” What a wonderful celebration of all that God has been doing in our midst! We celebrated 14 ordinands, 12 newly licensed district ministers, and 6 retirements. Here are the district statistics reported:
Worship Attendance (in person): 8,939 + increase of 590
Worship Attendance (online): 3,540 + increase of 655
Total Worship Attendance: 12,479 + increase of 1,245
NDI Attendance: 7,856 – decrease of 459
Conversions: 901 + increase of 23
Baptisms: 601 + increase of 137
New Nazarenes: 657 + increase of 269
Membership: 10,770 – decrease of 300
*(868 lost by removal or release)
Local Minister’s Licenses: 46 + increase of 3
Total Church Income: $19.3m + increase of $427k
Local Church Indebtedness: $11.3m + reduced by $1.5m
Giving for Others
World Evangelism Fund: $989,725 + $4,140 over goal!
Pension Fund: $354,068 – $4,849 under goal
MVNU: $357,005 + $39,399 over last year’s total
SCO District: $734,311 – $46,194 under last year’s total
We are grateful for each of our pastors and each of our churches. This report reflects God’s blessing on their good work this year.
Now, as we engage with this new church year, may we be faithful to focus on The One.
