Celebrating a Million-Dollar Mission:

Our District’s Impact on World Evangelism Fund

We’re thrilled to announce that our district has officially raised one million dollars for World Evangelism Fund (WEF) during the 2024-2025 church year – a historic milestone that reflects the heart of our churches and the mission we share in proclaiming the message of holiness and hope in Jesus!

The World Evangelism Fund is the fuel and lifeline of the Church of the Nazarene, enabling the church to send missionaries, plant churches, train leaders, and respond to crisis needs across the world. Through WEF, we are truly a church without borders, joining hands with fellow Nazarenes around the world, transforming lives and making an eternal difference.

At the NMI Convention in April, Rev. Geoff Kunselman delivered a passionate presentation on the World Evangelism Fund, inspiring District Superintendent Dr. Eddie Estep to challenge the church to raise the final funds needed to reach the one-million-dollar goal. Hearts were stirred, and faith was ignited as our district came together in a powerful moment of unity! Within minutes a commitment of spontaneous pledges poured in, and our district achieved its goal, crossing the one-million-dollar mark for World Evangelism Fund.

This incredible achievement wasn’t the work of a single church, but the result of a united effort by churches throughout our district, pastors and members alike. Behind every dollar is a story of faith, obedience, and a deep passion to see lives changed. We honor the small rural churches that gave beyond their size, the urban congregations that gave generously, and the countless individuals who chose to invest in something eternal.

Reaching this milestone is not the finish line, it’s a launching point. As we continue to support WEF, we also deepen our participation in the Great Commission. This is a great reminder that we are stronger together, and that our shared mission truly matters. Thank you, district family, for believing in the mission. Your giving is a powerful testimony of faith, unity, and generosity. Your sacrificial giving is making a kingdom difference!
