Head for the Hills!
Hocking Hills, that is!

I hope you’ll join us for the 2025 SCO Camp Meeting at Hocking Hills Retreat Center, from Sunday, July 6 through Sunday, July 13.

Evening services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sundays and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. If you’re joining us for the first time, the address is: 30682 Chieftain Drive, Logan, OH 43138.

We’re excited to welcome Dr. J. K. Warrick, a gifted leader and anointed preacher. You will be blessed by his ministry! He and I will alternate preaching during the evening services. You’ll also enjoy the inspiring music ministry of Zack Zaborski and Friends.

We all feel the pressures and time demands of life these days. Camp meeting can sometimes feel like one more item on an already full calendar. But it’s exactly in times like these that we need to pause. When the weight of stress leaves our souls weary and our spirits parched, we long for renewal. This week is an opportunity to be refreshed—through worship, fellowship, and a slower pace that invites God’s presence.

If you’re staying near Logan, don’t miss our morning Bible study sessions. Pastor Dennis King will lead devotions on the theme “Eating with Jesus” at 10:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. The focus will be on the gospel accounts of Jesus’ meals with people that became important settings for discipleship training.

Also, on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Pastor Josh Porterfield will be teaching a seminar titled “Healthy Church Systems” at Logan Naz. This session is designed for pastors, but lay leaders are welcome to attend as well.

We will receive an offering each evening, with three ways to give:

  1. Digitally via QR code
  2. Cash or check in the offering plate
  3. By mail (offering or pledge) to the camp treasurer

All evening services will be live streamed on the district Facebook page and YouTube channel.

We hope you’ll join us next week as we make space to tend to our souls and grow together in Christ.
