A Heartfelt Thank You, Pastor Christy!
This newsletter marks the bittersweet conclusion of Pastor Christy Robison’s service at the district office. Over the past four years, Christy has been a dedicated and integral part of our team, first serving as Executive Administrator (full-time) and later as Director of Communications (part-time).
In her roles, Christy played a key part in keeping our district connected, overseeing the production of our newsletters, coordinating communication across the district, planning events, and so much more. Her impact has been deeply felt, especially by the three different district superintendents she has served.
A couple weeks before the start of my duties as SCO district superintendent, Christy announced her resignation to accept a full-time position at Ohio Christian University. I asked if she’d be willing to continue working a few hours a week as Director of Communications to help us transition and to allow us adequate time to find a full-time replacement. Without hesitation, Christy graciously agreed. We are so thankful for her willingness to continue supporting us during this time of change.
Throughout her time with the district, those who have had the privilege of working with Christy have been blessed by her infectious joy and her servant’s heart. Her kindness, dedication, and positive spirit have made a lasting impact on everyone she’s worked with, and we are deeply grateful for the mark she’s left on the district.
Christy and Justin have accepted a call to serve on staff at Reynoldsburg Nazarene, and we are excited for the congregation that will be blessed by her passion for ministry. While we will miss her here, we’re happy that their new roles will allow them to remain a part of our District Ministry Team.
Thank you, Pastor Christy, for everything you’ve done. We pray God’s continued blessings on you and Justin as you embark on this new chapter of your ministry journey.
