Dear Friends:
Greetings from Kansas City, where Diane and I are endeavoring to end strong even while our hearts are turning toward South-Central Ohio.
We are looking forward to arriving in Columbus on Monday, September 30. Coincidentally, the DSAC (District Superintendent’s Advisory Council for the USA/Canada) has meetings planned at Easton on September 31 – October 2 that we are participating in, then we look forward to joining you for the Pastor and Spouse Retreat on October4-6 at the Easton Town Center Hilton.
I know there are a lot of changes happening this year – new location, new DS, new experiences. I hope you’ll join us in approaching this like a great adventure.
There are some things we want you to know. It will be wonderful to have Dan and Denise Boone with us. He’ll be speaking Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday morning. On Saturday morning, Diane and I will share a bit about our journey together in life and in ministry, and then I’ll share my heart about my hopes to serve you well. We’ll also have time for some Q&A that morning.
I know pastors sometimes wait until the last minute to signup – which is September 13 – but why not go ahead and sign up now? You can do that directly below this greeting.
